Kathy is known as "the material girl" at Michael McKinley and Associates, an architecture firm in Stonington, CT.  She researches and specifies finishes (flooring, lighting, furniture, etc.)  for the firm's  coastal homes in Connecticut and Rhode Island and Vero Beach, Florida.  She writes Michael McKinley and Associates' "Design Journal," a blog featuring design ideas and inspiration.
