Give Back: Lyme/Old Lyme Volunteer Fair Shows You How

Residents of Lyme and Old Lyme are invited to attend a volunteer fair on April 23 at the LOL High School that offers locals a wide variety of opportunities to give back to their communities.

Have you ever wondered how to get involved in helping others? Have you wanted to make a difference but don’t know where to start? Are you sure you know all the different services and programs that are available in our community? 

The public is invited to attend the Volunteer Fair at Lyme-Old Lyme High School on April 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. to learn about volunteer opportunities that are waiting for you, plus learn about all the different services that are being offered in your community. 

More than 25 local agencies will be participating in the Volunteer Fair and will have information for citizens of all ages who are interested in volunteering. Participating organizations include: 

  • Child & Family Agency of SE CT, 
  • Common Good Gardens, 
  • Florence Griswold Museum, 
  • Estuary Transit DistrictHigh Hopes, 
  • Literacy Volunteers Valley Shore,
