It's a sad day for fans of The Common Loon. The restaurant is closing, according to a post on its Facebook page this morning that read:
Dear Facebook friends, customers and family, We have decided to close the Common Loon. We will post a more formal and detailed posting later in the day. Thanks to those that have supported us over that last two years."
Fans are already taking to the page to express sadness over the restaurant's closing. The Common Loon is located at 135 Boston Post Rd., East Lyme.
