State Police Investigating Lyme Tavern Burglary

The Niantic bar was burglarized on Tuesday.

A press release from the Connecticut State Police:

On Oct. 22, at approximately 2 a.m., the Lyme Tavern located at 229 West Main Street in the Niantic section of East Lyme was burglarized.  

The East Lyme Resident State Trooper and East Lyme Police are attempting to identify a male burglary suspect whose image was captured by surveillance cameras.  This individual is suspected of committing similar type burglaries of restaurants/bars in area towns.  The public’s help is needed in stopping this criminal activity.
