Police Investigate Burglary In Lyme

A home on Joshuatown Road in Lyme was burglarized yesterday. Police are asking anyone with information to please contact Trooper Matlock at (860) 399-2100.

 

Police are investigating a burglary reported yesterday at 94 Joshuatown Road in Lyme. The perpetrators apparently used some kind of tool to force the door open and robbed the house some time between 10 and 11 a.m. No one was home at the time. The thief or thieves stole jewelery and other items.

First Selectman Ralph Eno is asking everyone to please keep an eye out and if you see anything out of the ordinary on your street, do call the police. Lock your doors and, Eno added, "if you park vehicles outside, do not leave valuables in them and lock your cars at night."
