Police Blotter: Arrest Logs for East Lyme, Old Lyme

Arrest information is provided by State Police Troop E and State Police Troop F. An arrest does not signify a conviction

 

State Police Troop E

October 5

Jeffrey A. Madore, 53, of 211 Upper Pattagansett Road, East Lyme, was charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm, breach of peace, criminal possession of a firearm, and reckless endangerment in the first degree.

According to the police report, Madore was observed traveling southbound on Upper Pattagansett Road and recognized by police as being the same person for whom they had an active arrest warrant. He was stopped without incident. Bond was set at $50,000. 

State Police Troop F

October 5

Kerry Dube, 45, of 4 Mill Lane, Old Lyme, was charged with Driving under the Influence of alcohol and/or drugs and with speeding following an accident on Lyme Street.

According to the police report, Dube was traveling north on Lyme Street and turning onto Sill Lane when she struck an SNET pole at the intersection, which propelled the vehicle backward until it came to rest against a stone wall. The driver reportedly told police she didn't know what happened. Police arrested her after she allegedly failed a field sobriety test. No one was injured in the accident.

I feel that beyond my concerns, my children may feel threatened or uncomfortable in a school with kids that are so much older than they are. It just doesn't seem like this would be the best decision for any of the children that would be affected by this change.
