Motorcyclist Killed in Fatal Accident in Lyme

According to State Police, Ryan Videll of Bozrah was killed when his motorcycle crossed over on to the wrong side of the road and collided with another vehicle.

On April 28, Ryan Videll, 31, of Bozrah (originally from Lyme) was killed in a vehicle accident near the intersection of Beaver Brook Road and Gungy Road in Lyme at around 6:30 p.m..

According to the police report filed at State Police Troop F in Westbrook, Kara Lech of Lyme was traveling southbound on Gungy Road when her Cadillac Escalade collided with Videll's motorcycle, which was traveling northbound on Gungy Road.  

Police say the accident occurred when Videll's motorcycle crossed onto the wrong side of the road. Videll, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
