Benefit Scheduled This Month For Seidel Family
The benefit at Pizza Cucina on Tuesday, Jan. 15, will help the Seidel family, which is still recovering from the murder of Kyle Seidel.
On December 21, 34-year-old Kyle Seidel was found dead in the parking lot of Waterford’s Family Bowl. A few days later, Connecticut’s medical examiner ruled the death a homicide by a gunshot wound to the neck.
Seidel, a Waterford resident, was married to Kate Seidel, who has three children, 8, 6, and 2. To help the family out, Pizza Cucina in East Lyme– where Kate Seidel has worked for the past six years – is holding a benefit on Tuesday, Jan. 15.
On that Tuesday, all the profit made from Pizza Cucina will benefit Kate Seidel and her family. The pizza restaurant urged customers to order take-out that day to help a woman and her three children left suddenly without their husband and father.
