Celebrate East Lyme 2014: A Guide

As if fireworks aren't fun enough, Celebrate East Lyme festivities include a sandcastle contest, something I've always wanted to see!

The 14th annual Celebrate East Lyme will take place from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 19, along Main Street in Niantic.

"Join us as Niantic's Main Street transforms into a spectacular celebration by the sea, filling with food, fun and fabulous activities for everyone in the family," the Celebrate East Lyme website proclaims.
