The Great River: Three Centuries of Connecticut Valley Art & History

Picture Show, Lecture and Conversation with Bill Hosley
Thursday, May 1st @ 7:00 PM

Connecticut’s Central Valley was one of the major culture hearths of American civilization-blazing trails in art, architecture, technology,
industry, agriculture, governance, religion and social reform. Great stories and historical facts provide insights into “the other New England.”

William Hosley, the principal of Terra Firma Northeast, is an independent scholar, cultural resource consultant, planner, writer, and photographer. He was formerly Director of the New Haven Museum and Connecticut Landmarks where he cared for a chain of historic attractions throughout Connecticut. Prior to that, he was curator and exhibition developer at Wadsworth Athenaeum.
