Palm Sunday at St. John's Episcopal Church

Palm Sunday at St. John's Episcopal Church, Main St., Niantic Begins Holy Week Observance.

St. John's Episcopal Church will mark the beginning of Holy Week on Palm Sunday, Apr. 13. with two celebrations of the Holy Eucharist at 8:00 with organ and hymns and 10:00 am. Blessed Palms will be distributed at both masses. The 10:00 am Service will begin on St. John's Green (weather permitting).  The Clergy and people will gather there for the Liturgy of the Blessing of the Palms followed by a Procession into St. John's Church, led by Bagpiper Michael Greehnam.  Celebration of Holy Eucharist with choir and organ will include a dramatic reading of Saint Matthew's Passion Gospel.  Saint John's HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE can be found at www.stjohnsniantic.org ALL ARE WELCOME.
