The Niantic Community Church is hosting a musical performance of Ivory&Gold®, a piano and flute duo. Proceeds will benefit the New London county gun buyback program.
Ivory&Gold® is a musical ensemble celebrating the greatest examples of American jazz, ragtime, Broadway and Gospel hits. For the Niantic concert, they will perform “Reflections of Love”: An upbeat exploration of the many aspects of life's most beautiful emotion.
The husband and wife duo, Anne Barnhart on flute and Jeff Barnhart on piano and vocals, has played to packed houses on every continent (excluding Antarctica) in jazz festivals, cruises, and concerts ranging from 20 people to over 2,000. They have recorded six CD’s including ragtime, an all-Broadway ballad recording, a collection of love songs, and Christmas selections and spend 40 weeks each year traveling. They make their home in Mystic.
