Light snow is expected to accumulate to one to two inches over the next six hours, possibly bringing a wintry mix of snow or rain during this afternoon's commute. The following closures have been announced.
- All East Lyme Board of Education meetings scheduled for tonight have been cancelled. The public hearing on the proposed school budget has been rescheduled for next Monday, with the special budget meeting to follow.
- East Lyme schools have cancelled all after-school activities today, except for daycare. Schools will be dismissed at the usual times, however.
- Lyme-Old Lyme Schools have announced early dismissal.
- Old Lyme After-School Programs are closed.
- The Lymes' Senior Center is closed.
- Lighthouse Vocational Education in Niantic is closing at 2 p.m.
- St. Matthias Church in East Lyme has no afternoon activities.
