Despite the number of four-legged tail-wagging friends you might see in your neighborhood, (not to mention at Lyme Town Hall, where First Selectman Ralph Eno's dog, Rosie, can reliably be found curled up under a desk and in East Lyme Town Hall, where First Selectman Paul Formica's boxer, Grace, has a bed in the office), Connecticut is not home to many dogs.

Vermont ranked number one and the District of Columbia came in last.
