Christmas Dinner To-Go from the Flanders Fish Market is a complete feast that serves 6-8 people for only $89.99.  Orders can be placed until Friday, December 21st by calling 860.739.8866. Customers can pick up this bountiful meal on Monday, December 24th and it will be completely cooked and ready to re-heat at home. 

A highlight of this year's Christmas Dinner To-Go menu is Chef Tim's recipe for Queen Anne Potatoes.  (Just tell your guests you made it yourself!)

Queen Anne Potatoes

Serves 4-6

4 large Baking Potatoes
2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
Salt to taste
Freshly ground Black Pepper
2 teaspoons Sugar
1/2 cup chopped Green Onion plus some extra for garnish
1 cup crumbled cooked Bacon
1 cup Cheese Blend, grated*
1/2 cup Dry White Wine
1 cup low-salt Chicken Broth

*choose your own blend of cheeses such as Monterey Jack, Parmesan and Cheddar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Peel potatoes and slice thin. Butter a shallow baking
dish and make a layer of potato slices inside in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle
some of the salt, pepper, sugar and lemon juice over potatoes. Next, layer on some
bacon crumbles, chopped green onion, part of the grated cheese blend.

Repeat the layers until everything is used, ending with a cheese layer on top. Pour
the wine and chicken broth over the layered ingredients and bake for 45 minutes
or until the top is nicely browned and the potatoes are tender. Garnish with green
onion.
