East Lyme's Birk Manufacturing named Made in CT Manufacturer of the Week

(Rocky Hill, Connecticut) - CONNSTEP announced today that Birk Manufacturing, Inc. is the featured Made in CT manufacturer of the week.  Birk Manufacturing, Inc. (http://www.birkmfg.com/) is the leader in flexible heater design and production used in the medical, aerospace, defense, transportation and semiconductor industries, among many.

Located in East Lyme, Connecticut with a staff of 75 highly-skilled employees, Birk was founded in 1989 by Norman Birk, an innovator in the heater industry, and prides itself on being able to quickly produce prototypes, sometimes within days, and offering the shortest lead times for new orders in the industry.

Additionally, the program provides social media forums for manufacturers to connect with one another and discuss industry issues.
