Eastern Connecticut Ballet's performance of the Nutcracker over the holidays garnered rave reviews but if you missed the show, you'll have a second chance to see some of the highlights in a special performance at Old Saybrook High School on February 14.
Dancers from the East Lyme ballet company will be presenting five classical vignettes from the Nutcracker including the spell-binding Arabian and the energetic Hoops dance. Company members will then perform a delightful narrated story of Carnival of the Animals.
The performance begins at 7 p.m. at Old Saybrook High School, 1111 Boston Post Road in Old Saybrook. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
