Where Am I And Whaddaya Know?

A weekly trivia contest to test your local knowledge of East Lyme, Old Lyme, and Lyme!

After a brief hiatus caused by storms and elections, we can now return to our regularly scheduled programming!

The last time I ran "Where Am I and Whaddaya Know" was Oct. 21, and Gail Melluzzo correctly noted that the location was Old Lyme Marina, and Gloria answered the trivia question, again correctly. The government agency located next door is the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. (And yes, I know Gloria said DEP but a lot of people don't know that it's now DEEP, so it was close enough for me!)

Congratulations both of you! Now on to this week.

Pictured above is this week's location for the "Where Am I?" part of this game. Can you tell me where I am?

And, because that's really easy, here are a few trivia questions:

  1. Who owns this property?
  2. Everything here comes from where?
  3. What does this place boast it carries more of than anywhere else in Connecticut?

As a parent of 2 children that attend NCS, I do not think the elementary school is the best place toRead More relocate Coastal Connection to. I feel that beyond my concerns, my children may feel threatened or uncomfortable in a school with kids that are so much older than they are. It just doesn't seem like this would be the best decision for any of the children that would be affected by this change.
