Scholarship Grant Will Help High Hopes Meet Increasing Need

Wireless Zone gives a $5,000 grant to High Hopes Therapeutic Riding Inc. in Old Lyme

A Press Release from High Hopes

The Wireless Zone Foundation for Giving has chosen High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, Inc.  to receive a generous donation of $5,000.  This grant will help High Hopes continue to offer its programs to all who might benefit based on therapeutic need rather than ability to pay.

High Hopes offers a unique environment of unconditional support and opportunities for skill building and personal achievement to individuals who face an array of daily challenges: a young adult dealing with mental illness, a child challenged by a physical disability, a troubled teen who has been moved from foster home to foster home or a student held back by cognitive disabilities.

“More than half of our students require assistance through direct scholarship support in order to participate, while at the same time costs continue to rise," said Kitty Stalsburg, Executive Director of High Hopes. “The support of the Wireless Zone Foundation will allow High Hopes to continue to fulfill its commitment to provide the highest quality of services while accepting our participants based on therapeutic need.”
