If you're a fan of American Idol, you'll be happy to know we might have a local Connecticut girl to root for this season. Madison native, Erin Christine Prestileo, a graduate of Daniel Hand High School class of 2004, advanced in Season 12 of the American Idol competition!!
She was one of several performers to receive the nod last Wednesday night during auditions in New York City.
The television show auditions tens of thousands of performers each year. This year's contestants are being judged by Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban.
