Treasured Handicrafts Donated To Benefit Lyme Ambulance.

LYME, CT  (July 9th) Lyme Ambulance Board Members, Operations Volunteers and friends of both groups are donating a wide variety of high quality hand-crafted goods to be sold at the Ashlawn Farmers Market Saturday, July 12th .

Hand made quilts, handbags, throw-rugs, hand-woven wool rugs, and stunningly colorful stained glass panels are just a few of the items offered. All proceeds will be donated directly to Lyme Ambulance, one of Connecticut’s few remaining “no-cost to the patient ”ambulance services that is funded by donations and operates without adding any tax-burden to Lyme residents.

“Lyme Ambulance is just one more thing that makes our town so special” explains Karen Dahle, a board member of Lyme Ambulance and a qualified EMT.  “I hope if people love Lyme, they’ll visit us at the Ashlawn Farmers Market on July 12th and check out the wonderful items our amazingly talented artists have created to support  the invaluable services Lyme Ambulance volunteers so generously provide.”
